707-822-2585Advocating for women entrepreneurs and women in leadership positions continues to be a strong focus of mine, and I am proud to be involved in co-founding the Women Entrepreneurs Roundtable, our new virtual network. I am CEO of the Career Life Institute, and I love working with people as a Master Career/Life Planner® and Executive Coach. I bring an extensive background in networking and working with professional women and women entrepreneurs through NAFE/ Business Connections and the Women Entrepreneurs Institute.
After twenty years of teaching and management in education and business, I co-authored a book on transition and change, You Can Choose Again, and started a successful Career/Life Planning® business while juggling a young family; I also became very active in my community through Hospice, the Small Business Development Center and founded Business Connections and the Women Entrepreneurs Institute. In 1997, I partnered with Katie Darden in co-founding the Career/Life Institute, an international training and coaching company. I love the synergy of working collaboratively with teams of people on specific projects-high energy, competent, visionary people-who come together to create results. I strongly believe in our connectedness, and as you succeed, I succeed.
My favorite clients are high powered, "Over-Achievers" - people who find themselves in high stress positions and who are in great need of career/life balance. Being a "Self-Proclaimed Over-Achiever" myself, I recognize the symptoms and love to share ways to effectively manage these over-achieving tendencies so they become strong assets.
| Career/Life Planning® | In 1985, I developed Career/Life Planning® (CLP), a soul searching,
powerful transition process which results in a comprehensive, written
professional development plan, covering all areas of your life. I specialize
in working with people who are in a major career/life transition - who
are "feeling stuck" - and successfully guide them through the
CLP transition process. With new clarity and insights, breakthroughs are
the norm during this CLP process, and clients launch themselves with new
vigor and vitality. |
| Executive Coaching | As an Executive Coach and member of Corporate Coach University (CCU)
and International Coach Federation (ICF), I support individuals and organizations
to manage change and evolve into their full potential as professionals.
My clients include corporate executives and managers, business owners,
professionals and educators. I specialize in succession planning, internal
professional development programs and personal leadership, with an emphasis
on bringing back Spirit and Soul to organizations. |
| Coaching Clinic™ Facilitation | I am a Certified Coaching Clinic™ Facilitator through Corporate Coach
U (CCU), and through the Coaching Clinic educate managers to implement
a 5-step coaching model, learning specific coaching skills, which has
proved to be most effective in the workplace. Through follow-up group
and individual coaching, we can provide complete coaching and support
for managers developing and using their skills, so that the coaching culture
becomes completely installed and creates benefit to the organization. |
| Certified Teleclass Leader and SIG facilitator | I teach teleclasses on a variety of topics related to the Career/Life
Planning and the Career/Life Approach, and offer a free class for "Self-Proclaimed
Over-Achievers." Our teleclass offerings will be expanded in the
near future. I am co-hosting a Special Interest Group (SIG) for Certified
Coaching Clinic Facilitators through Corporate Coach U (CCU). |
